Neighborhood Matching Grants Workshop

The Neighborhood Matching Grant (NMG) Program provides neighborhoods an opportunity to propose beautification and improvement projects that could qualify for matching grants from the City. This popular program was recently revitalized by City Council. The Department of Neighborhoods will host a workshop to discuss the NMG Program at the Sharpstown Community Center on September 23, 2014 at 6:30pm.

The NMG Program is designed to motivate community volunteers to identify and participate in local projects. There is a limited pool of money so competition for the funds will be vigorous. Proposed projects can be submitted here when applications become available on September 29th, 2014.

I hope to see all District J residents interested in participating in this great program at the Sharpstown Community Center on September 23rd!

Thank You,
