TACF Interns Make an Impact
By Lisa Sousa
We'd like to shine a spotlight on some of TACF's unsung heroes - our interns. Each year, The American Chestnut Foundation provides paid internships for 2-4 rising conservationists to work with TACF Regional Science Coordinators. This unique opportunity provides interns with a quality, hands-on work experience in applied science:  tree improvement, genetics, breeding, forest tree pathology, as well as silvicultural and horticultural techniques as they apply to the American chestnut tree. Read more here.

University of Kentucky Garrigus Plaza Renovation

PHOTO CAPTION FRIDAY
Every Friday, TACF will select one of the many great photos posted to our Facebook page for a weekly caption contest. This is simply a fun way to share the amazing photographs we receive and (hopefully) get your creative juices flowing! It's easy to participate, too! Visit TACF on Facebook, post a funny chestnut photo, and you could be the next photographer featured on PHOTO CAPTION FRIDAY!
