Williamsburg, Virginia is not typically considered a location where chestnuts grew. However new evidence uncovered by Dr. Don Davis, member of The American Chestnut Foundation (TACF) Development Committee, appears to prove that these trees also populated coastal areas of the eastern seaboard, most notably Colonial Williamsburg.
