After five months on the job as the Regional Science Coordinator in the Southeast I've been enjoying a hearty mix of outreach and management. These days, visitors to Meadowview Research Farms and Price Lab will notice a thriving and beautiful garden that wasn't there a year ago. With a closer look, it is clear that it serves a purpose that not every landscaping project can. The rain garden is working hard to clean and infiltrate the storm water runoff from the Lab roof and parking lot that would otherwise run into the field and gravel road.
