CHM Front Porch Pumpkin Patch & Fruit Stand
Our pumpkin patch - located on the right side of our front porch - has a large selection of locally grown carving pumpkins, pie pumpkins, decorative pumpkins, acorn squash & Hubbard squash.  The fruit stand - which is located on the left side of our front porch - has been stocked by our friends at Trapani Farms from Milton, NY. Each Saturday the truck arrives loaded with Friday's fresh picked fruit. This Columbus Day Weekend selection includes the following:
- Apples: Cortland, Crispin, Empire, Gala, Jona-Gold, Macoun, McIntosh & every kids favorite... Honey Crisp!
- Pears: Bosc & Asian
- Concord Grapes
- Last of the season plums
- Fresh pressed apple cider

 AnDe's Acre Farm Stand
Our friends Andy and Devorah who farm in Callicoon Center set up their farm stand in our parking lot every Saturday from 10am until 3pm. Andy and Devorah offer the most beautiful bounty of vegetables that they fresh pick early each Saturday morning from their river valley fields before heading to Catskill Harvest. Next time you are at the market - make sure to visit the AnDe's Acre farm stand for the freshest all natural produce you'll find for many miles around.

Time to talk TURKEY!
Catskill Harvest is pleased to once again be working with Campanelli's Poultry Farm located in Kenoza Lake to bring you the freshest locally raised heritage breed turkeys for your Thanksgiving meal.
As in years past, we'll be offering 4 sizes of birds to choose from. Because Campanelli's is a small family run farm, the supply of their tender birds is limited. To be certain that your feast features a Campanelli heritage turkey - please place your order with us as soon as you can. If you delay doing so - you may be the turkey instead.

THANKSGIVING PIES
The more you order, the cheaper the bird...
Due to ever escalating costs faced by our family owned farms, the traditional Thanksgiving meal gets more expensive each and every year.
Last year, in an effort to help rein in the cost of putting forth the Thanksgiving spread we reduced the cost of each turkey for every market baked pie you purchased as well. This promotion was well received - we were baking pies around the clock and sent more than 100 of them home to be enjoyed by your family & friends. This year, we hope to send even more pies out the door - with our increased selection of the pies that we bake - this challenge shouldn't be difficult to undertake.
The first pie that you buy takes $2 off the bird. The second pie will clip another $3. A third pie will shave another $4. And, for each additional pie you will save $5 more.
Who'd have thought that Catskill Harvest Market could be the golden goose this holiday season?

Catskill Harvest Signs on to End Hunger
To help others put this traditional meal on their tables too, we've signed on to donate $2 for every turkey you buy & $1 for each and every pie too. These funds will go to our friends at C.A.C.H.E. so that the local food pantry they run will be able to honor our pledge - every man, woman & child in need will have a hot turkey meal.
It is our hope that no one in need goes hungry on any day - It is the challenge we face to make certain no one goes hungry on this Thanksgiving Day. |
