Regular customers have probably noticed that we have been doing some reorganizing around here lately.  After our cheese cooler died (again), we decided to relocate our cheese selection to the dairy case just around the corner.  Our produce cooler died, too (it's been one of those months), but we've purchased a new fridge and installed it in the same location - looks a little different, but still contains a great assortment of the local and organic produce you've come to expect.  In addition, we've reconfigured some shelving throughout the market (including moving the sale shelves to the rear corner of the store so that we can highlight our garden seeds up front), so if you can't find something, please ask one of our sales associates to help you out - odds are it simply has a new home!

 

Le Petit Jardin has recently delivered the last of the hanging baskets that they will have available this season - get them while they last!

For the first time in a few years it appears we've made it trough the second half of May without a significant frost or freeze - so if you haven't already done so it's time to get those tomatoes into the ground.  Although it's unlikely at this point, be prepared to cover them overnight if the temperature drops below about 40 degrees.
