Saying Thank You to Marie Hedrick
Marie
Last month CHLT regretfully said goodbye to our Marketing and Outreach Director, Marie Hedrick. Our Board of Directors and staff wish Marie the best of luck in her future endeavors and thank her immensely for everything she has done for Colorado Headwaters Land Trust and for open lands in Grand County. Marie joined the last trust in 2011 and since then has helped board and staff bring the land trust to its current level of excellence. In 2013, she was in charge of rebranding the land trust as we changed our name from Middle Park Land Trust to Colorado Headwaters Land Trust, a process that resulted in a new logo, a new and improved website, new outreach materials, including a fantastic professional video, and a marketing focus on protecting the open lands within the headwaters of the Colorado River and its headwater tributaries.  During her time at the land trust she also organized our donor database and our annual fundraising events, sent out eblasts and newsletters, updated social media and our website, and worked on our major fundraising campaigns.  Marie, extremely talented and fun to be around, has been a terrific asset to the land trust. We will miss her greatly.
