~ Worshiping God ~
When we are not in the seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent or Easter,
we are in the growth period of Ordinary Time -
marked by the living and hopeful color of Green.

While the 'seasons' of the church year focus upon one aspect of the presence
of God in our lives, Ordinary Time celebrates all aspects and occurs twice
in the Liturgical / Christian calendar. First during the time between Epiphany and Ash Wednesday, and then again between Pentecost and Advent.
This is why this Sunday we pick up where we left off, at Ordinary Sunday Nine.

May your Ordinary Time be EXTRA-ordinary!

Ecclesiastes 9:11  ~  The Message (MSG)

I took another walk around the neighborhood
and realized that on this earth as it is -
The race is not always to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong,
Nor satisfaction to the wise, Nor riches to the smart,
Nor grace to the learned. Sooner or later luck hits us all.

Proverbs 16:33  ~  The Message (MSG)

Make your motions and cast your votes, but God has the final say.
