Truro Cultural Council
Plans are in the works to conduct future Cultural Council Grants through a paperless on-line system. This should be in place for the 2016 Grant Cycle. In the meantime, 2015 Grant Applications, which are due by October 15, 2014, still must be submitted on paper. Please note that the Truro Cultural Council requires seven (7) copies of your application. One copy of supporting materials, letters of recommendation, etc., is sufficient; but seven copies of the application itself are required. |
Commission on Disabilities
The Commission on Disabilities is seeking a new member! We are the group who helped to bring mobi mats and beach wheelchairs to Head of the Meadow and Corn Hill beaches. We have endorsed outdoor concerts at the totally accessible Truro Public Library and we have co-sponsored a presentation about the comic side of multiple sclerosis with the Council on Aging. The qualifications for Board Membership are an interest in disability and accessibility issues and the ability to attend our meetings on the second Friday of each month. We encourage you to come to our next meeting on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 3 p.m. to see what we are all about. Thanks!
