Sustainable Cape
Nico and Xanti hard at work on their paintings in Sustainable CAPE's after-school classes at the Library. They are among the many children who have worked with farmers and artists to patiently prepare for the annual children's exhibition at the library, which will open Jan 31st and run through the month of February. This year's show, entitled "Grow and Crow", features watercolor paintings of favorite hens and roosters. We've spent loads of time sketching, painting and pondering the symbiotic relationship of chickens and gardens - and hope you'll stop by to see!
