ThisMonthThis month in Truro ...

This month we pick up 88 minutes of additional daylight, enough to bring temperatures up about 9 degrees from March.

According to past records, we are told to expect an average temperature to 45°F, with average lows of 37°F and highs of 52°F.  We traditionally get an average total of 3 inches of rain and only 1 inch of snow. It's early spring, and the above freezing temperatures and rain will slowly start to thaw the frozen ground.

In March we accumulated 15 growing degree days in Truro.  That's enough heat energy to get the crocus to flower and provide us with some encouragement.

Below are some of the activities and events happening about town this month.
