Assessors Office
What is Personal Property and Personal Property Tax?
Personal property is composed of furniture, furnishings, goods, merchandise, equipment, tools, machinery, and other movable items not attached to part of the real estate (land, buildings, and other attached improvements.)
It is assessed separately from the real estate to certain businesses, public utilities, and owners of homes that not are their primary residences. Residents are required to fill out their street listing (town census) every year.
For more information or questions, you may contact the assessor's office, 508 349-7004, Exts 15,16 & 17, or click here.
Fire Rescue
First and foremost, Truro Fire Rescue would like to thank Truro Treasures for its donation and the many others who have made donations throughout the year. We appreciate your generosity.
We also wish everyone a Happy and Safe Holiday Season, and would like to share some safety tips from the Fire Marshall's Office ..
