Becky & Russ
|
RTL staff are saddened to soon be giving up our fearless leader, Russ Bierbaum, to retirement. Russ has planned his retirement for late this month. In 1990 Russ and Becky founded ReproTech's Minnesota facility as the only company focusing exclusively on long-term cryostorage, and this focus remains today. With Russ' expertise, RTL has developed into the leading and most respected cryostorage facility in the U.S. During Russ' tenure RTL has opened and operates four regional cryostorage centers throughout the U.S., and provides hundreds of clinics and thousands of their patients with storage services and industry advice. "Russ' concept of ReproTech, when he founded the company, was truly years ahead of its time," says Brent Hazelrigg, President and CEO of ReproTech. "The solid foundation which he built during the first 15 years has allowed ReproTech to enjoy significant expansion during the past 10 years." It is hard to imagine RTL without Russ, and we will certainly miss him. But we know he will be happy enjoying his family and traveling all over the world with Becky, so we wish both of them the very best with their exciting new life.
Thanks to all of those who joined us to celebrate Russ' retirement in Tucson! If you'd like to see photos of our celebration dinner, visit our
Facebook page.
Russ will be at the Embryologist Summit in Madison this week - be sure to stop by RTL's booth to wish him well!

We are so proud of Kirsty, daughter of RTL-NV's Site Director, Danika, and the Northern NV Lady Aces softball team for their season long campaign to CRUSH IT FOR CANCER.
Each time team players bat, they donate to the Northern NV Children's Cancer Foundation donation jar. Other team players and supporters have gotten into the spirit and donations have been piling in! Way to go, Lady Aces!
