As a long-term storage specialist, RTL has gone well beyond the industry standards in creating safeguards to ensure the safety and accuracy of the tissues entrusted to us. As well as being the only company in the U.S. that focuses exclusively on long-term storage of reproductive tissue, RTL offers our clients additional peace of mind with the addition of tornado/hurricane storm shelters to our MN and FL facilities. The storm shelters house the cryostorage tanks, which contain clients' specimens. Storm shelters are planned for RTL's addtional facilities in NV and TX upon expiration of current building leases.
Of course you know about hurricane season from June through November, but did you know that the U.S. also experiences a tornado season? While tornadoes may occur at anytime during the year, tornado season is a traditional period of peak activity from March through early July.
