2012 was another great year for ReproTech, and we hope the same for all of our FPN members.  We truly appreciate all of you and your staff for supporting our business and efforts at Fertility Preservation awareness.  Thanks to you, fertility preservation services and education and resources are more easily accessible to both patients and their healthcare providers.

We wish you health, happiness and prosperity in the new year, and we look forward to our continued relationship in 2013.
 

New revisions of MOST of our ACQ-100 patient forms became effective in December, in addition to the Specimen Transfer Data form, B DIS-050 Revision O, which became effective on 11/16/12.

To ensure that your clinic is using the current forms, please contact your local ReproTech office to request a copy, or contact Joy to find out about how your staff and/or patients may obtain direct access to our automatically updated forms.

We ask your cooperation in ensuring that your patients complete all RTL forms.  If items are left incomplete, please know that RTL will need to contact your office to request the missing information.  Signatures of witnesses and dates are often left incomplete.  The Clinical Diagnosis and Referring Physician items on the Treatment History forms are also frequently left incomplete.  We appreciate your help in reviewing the forms for completion prior to submission to RTL.

We want to be sure that all of our FPN members are compliant with the FDA, and have registered or renewed their registration.  If your clinic is performing donor eligibility, you must comply with the donor eligibility rule, 21 CFR Part 1271, which requires registration with the FDA.  We recently became aware of a clinic performing donor eligibility who was not registered with the FDA, so we wanted to be sure all of you are covered.

We were excited to announce version 2.0 for the iOS version of our free Fertility Preservation App, and the initial version for Android in 2012.  Thanks to everyone who downloaded the apps and provided feedback.  The winner of the $50 gift card for completing our survey is Carli Chapman, Technical Supervisor at Reproductive Medicine Institute in Oak Brook, IL.

If you have not downloaded the free App, please take a few moments to do so.  In addition to providing educational information on fertility preservation via our Fertility Preservation 101 booklet, the App includes a Find-A-Clinic search where your center is listed.  We will be adding clinic logos in 2013, so please contact Joy to supply your logo if you have not already done so.  As well, we welcome any suggestions or feedback. 

We were able to approve 178 patients for our Verna's Purse Financial Assistance Programs in 2012.  In addition, we were able to provide storage for 150 patients approved for LiveSTRONG's Sharing Hope programs.

Thank you for offering these program to your patients facing cancer.  If your center would like to learn more about becoming a part of LiveSTRONG's Sharing Hope network by enabling cancer patients to afford fertility preservation treatment, please contact Joy.
