Voices Newsletter                August 2014

Greetings!,

MBCN is working hard on the details of the

September 19-21 conference -- Life with Metastatic Breast Cancer -- at UNC Lineberger Cancer Center to make it our best one ever. We obtained additional funding for travel scholarships, so please consider applying if you are truly in financial need and would like to attend.

Featured below we have the spotlight turned on two of the doctors who will be presenting. Please take a moment and view the videos. I think you will find them informative and engaging.  See also the complete AGENDA.

OCTOBER is coming--a month that many of us dread and feel overwhelmed by......but already there are a number of programs scheduled by various breast cancer organizations and cancer centers that will focus on us and living with metastatic breast cancer. Keep checking our CALENDAR and Facebook pages and we'll keep you up to date on everything!

Warmest regards,

Shirley

MBCN President

2. BONUS SHUTTLE BENEFIT: The conference shuttle service has added a bonus benefit. If you are taking the Sunday 11:30am shuttle at the end of the conference on Sunday back to the Sheraton, you can stay on board for a free ride to the airport!

3. BONUS FOR REGISTRANTS IN FINANCIAL NEED: We have added a category under registration fee on the registration form for those who cannot afford the $55 registration fee.
