Valerie Harper: Quotes of the month

We're saddened by Valerie Harper's report that her lung cancer has returned as metastatic brain cancer--leptomeningeal carcinomatosis.

But we love her fighting spirit. And her great quotes:

"Incurable is a tough word--so is terminal."

"I'm not dying until I do."

" If you die, you're not a failure. You're just somebody who had cancer, and that's the outcome."

"I want people to be less afraid."

"Keep yourself open to miracles."
