backing off of your watering schedule 

It's time to start thinking about adjusting your irrigation system by backing off on your watering schedule. Typically, you can reduce down the days that you water and time allotted per zone. If you are running your turf zones for 20 to 30 minutes you can back down to 15 minutes.  Remember, if you're getting ready to aerate and over seed certain zones may need to be adjusted appropriately to compensate for the upcoming fescue seeding event.
