"Mixtape: The Soundtrack of Life"  

 

 

Psalms are the expressions of people attempting to put lyrics to the melodies of life. They contain anger, sorrow, worship, joy and thanksgiving. Perhaps a psalm or two sounds like the song you would use to describe your life. Join us in November for a look at psalms to which we can personally relate.

Grief Share
Thursdays, 6:45pm, Room 126

If you've lost a spouse, a child, an extended family member, or even a close friend to death, you may have found there are few people who understand the deep hurt you are experiencing. Grief Share is a support group designed to provide you with the love, healing and encouragement of God through His community, during this very difficult time. No one should walk the path of grief alone.

  THANKSGIVING OUTREACH

 

November 2-16      


We need your help filling our food barrels located around the MPN building -  This Thanksgiving, MPN will provide meals for over 150 families in need. These meals will serve two groups: Marietta Housing Authority's "FSS: Family Self-Sufficiency" Program, which enrolls families committed to moving off of government assistance, and the women and girls of WellSpring Living, a ministry to the victims of trafficking in Atlanta.

CHRISTMAS OUTREACH

Sponsor a child for Christmas- We are teaming up with Marietta Housing Authority's FSS (Family Self-Sufficiency) Program to provide gifts for those who might otherwise go without.You may help by sponsoring a child or family; or by making a donation to the outreach fund of MPN. Pick up a card from the pew rack or contact Jane for more information.

 




NO GREATER LOVE MINISTRY TRIP

 

February 13-16     

 
Every year a group of men join with No Greater Love Ministry to spread the Gospel during Mardi Gras - Feb. 13-17, 2015. The cost is $200.00 which includes food & lodging. Recommended for all men over 17. For more information call Jane at 678-285-3204 or email Jane.

Practices are held Wednesdays in November from 7:00-8:30pm in Quest Adventure, Room 215.

South Georgia freshly shelled pecans for sale! All proceeds go to help fund the ministry of the MPN Senior Adults. We will serve a fully catered dinner and have a wonderful program to ring in the Christmas Season. We will celebrate December birthdays & Anniversaries and have some special surprises. Hispanic Christmas Celebration Dinner

MS@North Sermon Series - What is God Like? 

Sundays in November, 10:30am, The Loft 

Many Middle School students know all the major bible stories and have memorized key scriptures like John 3:16. Nevertheless they are still very confused by who God is and what He is like. A student's view of God will determine the course of their lives. During this series we will be introducing the students to the bible verses and stories that describe God's character and attributes. We will teach the students that God is 3 yet 1, just yet love, all powerful yet servant, all knowing, everywhere all the time, and perfect.
