CRLS SUMMER MATH PACKETS AND SUMMER READING:
If your child is taking a math class next year in the fall, they have a summer math assignment know as a pre-course packet. Pre-course packets are designed to review skills that your child will need before they begin their math class. The packets are being sent to your child's First Class school email account and are also available on the CRLS Math Department web site. Click here Your child's pre-course packet is due on the 1st day of math class in the fall.

In addition, your student has a summer reading assignment through the CRLS English Department. Information about the summer reading assignment was sent by mail last week and can be found on the Cambridge Public Schools and CRLS web sites. click here

The CRLS school library lets kids borrow summer reading books for the entire summer and also has coupons from Porter Square Books offering 10% off 1 summer reading book.

Questions about the math packets should be directed to me, Jeff Gaglione, by e-mail or by phone at 617-349-6650. Summer reading assignment questions should be directed to your child's English teacher this year. Enjoy your summer and we look forward to the 2014-15 school year.

Lunch Account Messages for Families of Graduating Seniors:

Calling all Families! Now is the time to balance your student's meal account. For those with seniors graduating with the class of 2014, you must contact the Food and Nutrition Office if you have any excess funds or debt in student's meal account.
For those that have additional funds in their account that have not been utilized you may either:
-Transfer funds from the graduating student to the meal account of a sibling that will be returning to Cambridge Public Schools next year.
- Submit a formal request for a refund of any excess funds.

Please contact the food and nutrition office so we can work with you to settle your account by calling 617-349-6858 or emailing our business manager, Anthony Grein, at agrein@cpsd.us.

For Families that have student who will be returning to Cambridge Public Schools next year, all funds and debts are carried over through the following year.
News from FOCA:
FOCA is looking for 1 or 2 people who could volunteer to set up an online school store for CRLS this summer to be ready to launch in the fall.
The students in the business class run the CRLS school store and this online school store would be an extension of their learning.
The online store would be featuring the clothing we sell ( FOCA subsides the clothing and all sales support CRLS and athletics).
We would like to create an online order form to order the clothing we sell. We would like an option to personalize it or create team clothing. We would like photos of the merchandise on the page.
We would like to link it to the CRLS site.
We would need to be able to have people pay on line and either ship the merchandise or pick up at school.
Please contact Laurie Gaines ( lauriebee4@aol.com) or Tom Arria ( TArria@cpsd.us ) if you world be willing to work with us this summer. Thank you
Let's Move, Let's Eat , Lets Read:
