Aspen help for parents during Parent Teacher Conferences:
During PTC conference on Tuesday 3/11 from 12:30-2:30 and Wednesday 3/12 from 8:00-11:00 LC-C Lab Room 4405 -open both days LC-R Lab Room 3607 -open Tuesday 3/11 from 12:30 -2:30PM LC-L Lab Room 3401 - open both days but closing Wednesday 3/12 at 10AM LC-S Lab Room 2210- open both days

CRLS Parent Teacher Conferences are coming! Pre-registration is open on the CRLS website http://crls.cpsd.us/aboutcrls/parent_conferences The Conference Schedule is as follows:
Tuesday March 11, 12:20-3:30 PM Online registration (early release for students- students released after block 2- lunch is served)
Wednesday, March 12, 8:10-11 AM Online registration (delayed opening for students students arrive for block 3 or lunch)
Thursday, March 13, 6-8 PM Walk-in. No pre-registration
**If you are coming to the walk-in time please bring your child's schedule or progress report.
**Parking will be available in Harvard's Felton Street Garage.

ELA MCAS EXAMS for all 10th graders March 18, 19 and 21.
All 10th grade students arrive at 8:05 AM for exams. There will be a delayed opening for 9, 11 and 12 grades.
March 18th - Delayed Opening- 9,11 &12 grade Students arrive for lunch A or B. All students go to blocks 1&2 for afternoon classes
March 19th - Delayed Opening- 9,11 &12 grade Students arrive for lunch A or B. All students go to blocks 3&4 for afternoon classes
March 21st - Delayed Opening, 9,11 &12 grade students arrive for lunch A or B. All students go to blocks 3,4,1,2 (shortened classes) for afternoon classes.

MORE FINANCIAL AID HELP:
Every Wednesday from 9am-3pm in the CCRC room 1501 -ASA (American Student Assistance) is avaible to help. Students can stop by and sign-up for an appointment. Some types of Financial Aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and there are deadlines. Apply as soon as possible to maximize the amount of financial you can receive. Join us. Wednesday, March 26 (6 - 8 p.m.) CRLS Falcon's Nest, 2nd Floor 459 Broadway, Cambridge
Join us for an interactive workshop for parents. Learn about the health risks of marijuana, the laws in Massachusetts, and substance abuse services available for parents and students. CRLS students will also give advice on talking with your teens about marijuana.

CRLS Arts Committee, March 12 at 7 pm Please come to the next meeting of the CRLS Arts Committee, March 12 at 7 pm in the VPA office, basement of arts building. On the agenda are transitions of arts committee members. Several parents of seniors are retiring from the committee at the end of this year. Come to the meeting to learn about the fun volunteer opportunities (at all commitment levels) for families who'd like to support our student artists. Learning to Manage Time, Behavior, and Schoolwork
Wednesday, March 12, 6:30 PM CRLS, 459 Broadway, Media Cafe Free & open to the public. Childcare and snacks will be provided.
About this Presentation: Executive functions are the skills needed to plan, organize, strategize, pay attention, remember details, predict the impact of planned behavior, and manage time and space. Learn how children develop Executive Functioning skills, and why some kids struggle more than others in these areas. Using methods developed by the Landmark School, this presentation will explore concrete strategies for supporting students with executive functioning deficits at home and at school.

First Tuesday of the Month 6:30-8 PM (new hours) PM in the CRLS Main Cafeteria. April 1, May 6 and June 3.
Parenting teens isn't easy. Don't do it alone. This is an opportunity to meet other parents, share experiences and support each other through these challenging yet exciting times.
