Calling all CRLS Seniors. Do you need money to pay for college?
CRLS on-line scholarship application will go live on Saturday February 1st.
This year's deadline will be Friday, February 28th at 11:00 PM You can find the link to register and login on February 1st on the CRLS website http://crls.cpsd.us/scholarships/crls_scholarships
Also, Every Wednesday from 9am-3pm in the CCRC room 1501 -ASA (American Student Assistance) is avaible to help. Students can stop by and sign-up for an appointment. Some types of Financial Aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and there are deadlines. Apply as soon as possible to maximize the amount of financial you can receive. CRLS Parent Teacher Conferences are coming! Pre-registration will open on the CRLS website on Friday, February 28, 2014. The Conference Schedule is as follows:
Tuesday March 11, 12:20-3:30 PM Online registration (early release for students) Wednesday, March 12, 8:10-11 AM Online registration (delayed opening for students) Thursday, March 13, 6-8 PM Walk-in. No pre-registration

CRLS ARTS COMMITTEE: Arts supporter families: please come to the CRLS Arts Committee meeting on February 12th at 7 pm, in the VPA office in the arts building. On the agenda is planning for the fun, end-of-year celebration of student artists, as well as other activities in support of the arts at CRLS.

The Germ Challenge: Cubist Pharmaceuticals and the Cambridge Science Festival are challenging 15-20 year olds to create a video, 30 seconds to 5 minutes long, that explains what a germ is to a 5th grade audience. Entries must be accurate, thorough, creative, engaging, and fun! Entries will be judged first by a panel of Cubist scientists and then by a panel of 5th graders! Looking For Young Marine Biologists at the New England Aquarium Marine Biologist in Training (MBIT) courses are challenging opportunities for students between 13 and 17 years old to learn about marine science through the New England Aquarium. The purpose of the MBITprogram is to inspire its Applicants to develop an ethic of ocean stewardship and to help prepare them for future opportunities in marine science. CRLS starts Parents Group: Parent-to-Parent
First Tuesday of the Month 6:30-8 PM (new hours) PM in the CRLS Main Cafeteria. March 4, April 1, May 6 and June 3.
Parenting teens isn't easy. Don't do it alone. This is an opportunity to meet other parents, share experiences and support each other through these challenging yet exciting times.Potluck and socializing.
