YOGA FOR TEENS AND ADULTS:
Cambridge Department of Human Services is offering free yoga classes for both teens and adults. The yoga classes will be a slower moving vinyasa style, linking movement with breath. The classes are appropriate for both beginner students and those who have practiced yoga before. Practicing yoga helps reduce stress and anxiety (very important during these times), increase self-esteem and build both strength and flexibility. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mat, as supplies are limited.
All classes take place at the Sheila Russell Youth & Community Center, located at 680 Huron Avenue, across from the Golf Course. (you can take the 72 or 75 bus from Harvard Station.)
Teen Yoga - Thursdays 7:15 pm May 2, 9 & 16, June 6, 13 & 20 Adult Yoga - Fridays 6pm May 3, 10 & 17 June 7,14 & 21

Please participate in our School Climate Survey:
This year we will be administering a School Climate Survey to parents as well as students and staff. We are asking parents to complete the survey online anytime before May 30th. The web address of the survey is below. If you are unable to access the survey at home, feel free to come to the school or the public library to complete the survey online. If you have any questions, please let us know.
All responses are anonymous. There are no names attached to the survey, and all data will be reported in terms of the way groups of people respond to items. The National School Climate Center (NSCC) will compile and analyze the data for us and give us a comprehensive report with their recommendations.
These findings will be reviewed by the School Council and the CRLS leadership team, and will be used to inform future school planning initiatives.
