CRLS SCHOOL COUNCIL ELECTIONS ARE AROUND THE CORNER:

Please consider running for the CRLS school Council.

Every family has something to contribute to CRLS. In May we will again elect parent representatives who will begin serving on the School Council in the fall.

Membership should reflect the racial and ethnic diversity of our school community. We are actively seeking representation from minority families. Your voice is needed.

The CRLS School Council usually meets on the last Tuesday of the month. Click here for more information: http://crls.cpsd.us/schoolcouncil/crls_sc_meetings

Elections letters will be sent home with grades on April 15. For more information contact Greta Hardina, CRLS family liaison at ghardina@cpsd.us or 617-349-6660 or Adam Manacher the co-chair of the CRLS Council at 617-645-6525
PARENT SURVEY:

The Cambridge Public Health Department (CPHD) is conducting on online survey http://svy.mk/X88rsz  to find out how the Cambridge community would like to interact with the health department on social media.

The health department would like to engage with CPS families around a variety of topics and to find out what health issues are of greatest interest to the CPS community. The health department operates the CPS School Health Program, which includes school nursing, vision & hearing screenings, and the school nutrition program, as well as the dental screening program in the elementary schools.

The health department invites parents and CPS staff to take the online survey and share it with your networks.  It is being administered through Survey Monkey and can be accessed at:  http://svy.mk/X88rsz

The survey is for adults (18+) who currently use social media and live, work or go to college in Cambridge, or are affiliated with Cambridge in some other way.  This survey should take 15 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous.

The survey is part of larger research project being conducted by the health department and Emerson College's health communications program. If you have any questions or would like more information about the survey, please contact Suzy Feinberg, Communications Specialist, Cambridge Public Health Department at sfeinberg@challiance.org or 617-665-3833.
