Let's talk: Communicating with Teens- March 12, 2013   at 6PM

Communication is essential to maintain a close and healthy relationship between teens and their parents, and offers parents the ability to influence the choices and decisions teens make as their independence increases. In this session, parents will learn how the new skills teens are developing can increase the quality of conversations between parent and child and how to manage the challenges. In addition, parents will explore parenting styles to determine what practices best support a teen's growing independence.  Facilitated by Families First Parenting Programs.

Parking available in the Ellery Street garage. Food will be served. For more information or to register email Greta Hardina the CRLS Family Liaison at ghardina@cpsd.us or call 617-349-6660

It's Compost Week!
Let's make composting at CRLS awesome! Remind your students!
All plastic containers served in the cafeteria are made from plants and belong in the COMPOST. (Please don't put them
in the recycling.) All food scraps and plates and containers served in the cafeteria can go in the COMPOST - to become this!
Crops grown in soil with compost in it need fewer fertilizers and less water.
It takes just a second to compost and recycle - and makes a big difference!
Thanks for helping make composting

Sincerely, Greta Hardina, CRLS
