Deadline for Winter Sports:
The Winter Athletic Season begins on 11/26. All students are required to sign up by November 16th. Please visit the athletic section of the CRLS website to learn about the new sign up process.   There will be a meeting for the parent/guardians of all Winter Athletes this Sunday, November 18th at 7pm in the CRLS Gym.  This meeting is for parents only.  Please make every attempt to attend this important event.  This is a great opportunity to meet the coaching staff and receive information about our winter sport programs.

CALLING ALL 8TH GRADE FAMILIES: 

 

SAVE THE DATE: CRLS Information Night: Please join us on Dec 11, 2012 from 6-8 PM in the Arts Building at CRLS for the 8th Grade Information Night.  Come learn about the exciting and engaging opportunities in the academics, arts, athletics and extra curricula offered to CRLS students. The agenda for the evening will include a presentation from Principal, Damon Smith, in the CRLS auditorium followed by a smaller group sessions with guidance counselor, deans, parents and current CRLS students.  

CRLS Learning Community and Guidance Counselors assignments will be mailed to families the first week in December.

Support CRLS Band Program:
There'll be a jazz benefit concert November 19, 7:30 p.m., at the Regatta Bar in Cambridge, featuring the Ken Gable Quartet (The CRLS new band Teacher).

All proceeds to the CRLS band program. Come on out for a fun evening that supports our student musicians.  Tickets are $20. For more information contact kgable@cpsd.us.

Henna Club Fundraising for Cancer Center:
The Henna Club is fundraising this Friday November 16th, 2012 for the donation to Mass General Cancer Center. Students from the club are going to apply henna for different prices. So get a Henna tattoo and help us fundraise for cancer research in room 1609 after school.
The National Honors Society and STARs are holding a Thanksgiving Food Drive

Please tell students to bring nonperishable goods*  to labeled boxes in Learning Community offices, the Rindge and Arts building lobbies, and STARS room (2201)

It will take place from Monday, November 12 - Wednesday, November 21

The food will be donated to Rosie's Place, a women's shelter in Central Square

Thank you so much for your help!
