from the Embry Rucker Community Shelter to housing by Sept. 30th.

Walk in Their Shoes on Oct. 2nd
Each participant in this year's Reston Town Center Walk will walk for a family or individual housed through Cornerstones' Rapid Re-Housing Challenge. Walkers will learn the journey that led to the family's or individual's homelessness and how supporting the walk helped move them to stable housing. Read More >>

Two Brothers Have a Home
8 families and 6 individuals have already moved into stable housing since the start of Cornerstones' Rapid Re-Housing challenge on July 1st, including Aamar and Taabish, two brothers who, without their mother and father, found themselves at the Embry Rucker Community Shelter. Read more >>

Volunteers (adults ages 21+) are needed for SNAP-at-Market Farmer's Market (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as Food Stamps) to facilitate clients using their benefit to purchase fresh, locally-sourced food directly from vendors at the Reston Farmer's Market.
When: Saturdays, 7am - 10:30am and 10am - 1pm through November.
