7 of the 19 single clients who exited the shelter moved to permanent housing. 5 of the 8 families who exited the
Embry Rucker Community Shelter moved to permanent housing.
411 households (1,036 beneficiaries) were served by our Emergency & Self-Sufficiency Services Program. 274 households received bags of food and toiletry items, 100 households received information and referrals, 113 participated in life skills classes.
More than $14,000 was provided to help 15 households in financial crisis avoid rental eviction or disconnection from a vital utility.
Our Foreclosure Prevention
program assisted 20 households, of which 5 households (16 beneficiaries) have been able to avoid foreclosure.
Through our Pro Bono Legal Clinic at the Southgate Community Center, 13 people were given free consultation with a lawyer.
