Neighbors came to our Herndon Neighborhood Resource Center more than 4,000 times for services.
  
12 families (totaling 33 individuals) and 45 single adults were served at our Embry Rucker Community Shelter.

 

7 of the 19 single clients who exited the shelter moved to permanent housing. 5 of the 8 families who exited the

Embry Rucker Community Shelter moved to permanent housing.

 

411 households (1,036 beneficiaries) were served by our Emergency & Self-Sufficiency Services Program. 274 households received bags of food and toiletry items, 100 households received information and referrals, 113 participated in life skills classes.
 
More than $14,000 was provided to help 15 households in financial crisis avoid rental eviction or disconnection from a vital utility.

 

Our Foreclosure Prevention

program assisted 20 households, of which 5 households (16 beneficiaries) have been able to avoid foreclosure.

 

Through our Pro Bono Legal Clinic at the Southgate Community Center, 13 people were given free consultation with a lawyer.
