Glacier Sotheby's International Realty Newsletter |
Greetings!
Spring has arrived in the Flathead Valley. We enjoyed a winter with abundant snow in the mountains with the weather being a little more mild than normal in the valley.
The overall real estate market here continues to increase slightly in terms of gross dollar volume and transaction volume from the same time period in 2012. Some sectors of the market are seeing lack of inventory while others have abundant supply. The listing inventory traditionally expands in the spring and early summer. We will keep you informed of the supply versus demand in the upcoming months.
The Flathead Valley continues to gain notoriety through various publications. The articles below are a few of the most recent.
- Whitefish was named in the 10 most scenic resorts on weather.com
- One of our listings was featured on realestate.MSN.com about ski-in and ski-out properties.
- National Geographic had a write-up about Whitefish and skiing
- Whitefish was mentioned in the Wall Street Journal article called "Retire Here, Not There: Montana". This article is located at the bottom of the newsletter.
- The adventurepost.com featured an article about planning a ski weekend in Whitefish
Sotheby's International Realty continues to enhance our marketing program by upgrading the SIR mobile app. The app allows users to get a sense of place and community within the areas of their home search. You can download at http://m.sir.com/.
Don't hesitate to contact us to discuss the newsletter contents or if would like additional information.
Enjoy your Spring!

No Montana home would be complete, it seems, without hiking boots, skis and fishing poles. Residents and visitors alike can roam through the Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, ski relatively uncrowded resorts like Bridger Bowl and Big Mountain, or fly-fish in the chilly rapids of the Bitterroot or Yellowstone Rivers.
