Lower school teachers recently enjoyed an afternoon of professional development with a devotion led by Chaplain, Nate Muse, and an INNOVATIONS STEM Lab lesson taught by teacher, Rob McGrath. In the STEM lesson, called Operation Red Turkey, the teachers were divided into groups and tasked with creating a landing craft to help them leave the planet of Mars, which was covered in ooblek (Dr. Seuss' gooey, green substance) rain to get home for Thanksgiving!
KT students Carter Estepp and Clara Blaine Blakemore concentrate on the construction of their Native American villages. Clara Blaine is making a pueblo and Carter is making a long house.
