Correction!
Sophia Han, Carys Horton, Charlie Blanton and Owen Mumford share their animal friends during a zoo phonics activity in Mrs. Patterson's Transitional Kindergarten class.  Charlie and Owen's names were incorrect in the last eBLAST.  Our apologies!

Miss Horton's class recently enjoyed time in the Innovations STEM Lab.  The 2nd Grade students were given pieces of construction paper, 3 yards of tape, a matchbox car, and several text books.  From those materials, they had to build a "bridge" between two stacks of textbooks that were a yard apart. The bridge had to be built so that cars could not only go across it, but could fit under it. We learned lots about building a structure, the importance of having supports and stabilizers, and how important team work is on a project.  Alex Rollings, Kaya Thompson and Benjamin Fulk worked as a team.

Entering the ark two-by-two, Mrs. Patterson's KT class recently enjoyed Jungle & Zoo Day!
