Summer Office Hours

-Shannon Forest's Main School Office on the West Campus (US) will operate according to the following summer schedule:

Monday - Thursday, the office will be open from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Friday, the office will be open from 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon.

-Most of the full-time staff will be available during this time. If you need to check-in with someone outside of these hours, please call to schedule a time in advance.

-The East Campus (LS) Building will be closed all summer.  The Early Childhood Building Office will be staffed during a portion of the day for Summer at Shannon.

EARLY CHILDHOOD/LOWER SCHOOL NEWS

Rising 1st - 5th Grade Summer Reading...Get a Clue! 

Your student is encouraged to read (or be read to) at least 30 minutes a day during the summer months.  Rising 1st - 5th Grade students should record the number of minutes read each day and return the reading logs to your child's homeroom teacher by Friday, August 15.  Students who read at least 2000 minutes during the summer will have the opportunity to redeem their Reading Minutes for valued privileges at school.

IGNITE Students Finish the Year with Exciting Projects!

Julie Sellars' IGNITE students completed interesting projects that took them to the far corners of the world!

22FT ACADEMY NEWS

Class of 2014's Brandon Chauca Signs with University of California-Berkeley

Class of 2014 graduate and 22ft Academy member Brandon Chauca has had a busy spring!  After fielding numerous offers, the standout point guard has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball at the University of California-Berkeley.  The 5' 9" powerhouse averaged 23.1 points, 7.4 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 3.7 steals per game for his 22ft team this past year.  He also recorded two 40 point games. Brandon is known for being able to "make the play" and being an awesome outside shooter.  He made official visits to both California and Washington State in May.  He also had official offers from Washington State, American University and Missouri.  Congratulations, Brandon!

 

22ft Summer Basketball Camp Offered

22ft Academy Head Coach Ryan Schmidt will lead a Summer Basketball Camp for

ages 9 - 14.  The camp will focus on skills, fundamental development, fitness and fun!  The camp will be held from Wednesday, June 18 - Friday, June 20, AND Monday, June 23 - Wednesday, June 25, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  The cost is $125 per week OR $200 for both weeks.  Contact Matt Schmidt at matt@22ft.com to register.
