 Summer Fun at Early Learning Center The children of the Hearthstone Early Learning Center have been busy learning and having fun this summer. Activities have included a day at Papa Murphy's learning to make pizza, visiting the WTTW Kids Readers are Leaders Summer Tour, and spending a day at Veterans Acres Splash Pad and Park. |
Hard Times or Good Times?
Which is it? Are these hard times or good times for you, your family, our nation, and our world? The answer depends on a lot of different factors. However, my guess is that for most of us these are, to some degree, hard times. Maybe it is a shortage of money for necessities. Maybe it is your health or a family member's health. Maybe it is a tough relationship. Maybe it is your job. The older we get the more we realize that life is not fair. We see the evidence for this unfairness in the residents or children we serve. We see the evidence in our own lives. Where is God in all of this?
