Renovation at Hearthstone

The first face-lift at Hearthstone Court will begin later this month.  Since these duplex units are structurally solid, they will be refurbished from the ground to the roof.  This new look will be a benefit to existing residents and new occupants.

Construction should take about two months to complete.  Units will be offered with an entrance fee of $99,000 plus a monthly service fee.  The entrance fee is 80% refundable upon resale.

Rental units at the Village of Hearthstone are also being renovated as required by demand.  Residents who pay six months rent upfront are eligible to receive a seventh month of free rent.  Rentals available include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments.  For information contact Beth Burg at 815-338-2210 or burgb@hearthstonewoods

Hearthstone Communities
Greetings!

With the success of our Prairie Homes project in the senior living marketplace, we looked northward on our campus to expand this successful senior living option.  Our own Hearthstone Court has provided dignified independent living for seniors for a number of years but the homes were becoming outdated and need a fresh look.  Rather than tear down and rebuild in the Prairie Homes design, we decided to remodel and renovate the current foot-prints with modern designs and upgraded finishes.  The name got a fresh coat of paint also as the Garden Homes of Hearthstone. Plans for a beautiful outdoor gathering place at the end of Crescent Lane are under consideration.  Read on about how to learn more about this attractive senior living alternative.  our offer(s) should cover the basics - name of the product or service, price, terms of payment, time limit, any incentives or guarantees and of course, how to get it.

Hard Times or Good Times?

Which is it? Are these hard times or good times for you, your family, our nation, and our world? The answer depends on a lot of different factors. However, my guess is that for most of us these are, to some degree, hard times. Maybe it is a shortage of money for necessities. Maybe it is your health or a family member's health. Maybe it is a tough relationship. Maybe it is your job. The older we get the more we realize that life is not fair. We see the evidence for this unfairness in the residents or children we serve. We see the evidence in our own lives. Where is God in all of this?
