   The Neesha catalog was a big success. We worked with two great models, great staff, finished early and on budget! I guess the 5th time was a charm, sorry Caesar, March just wasn't your month.

The Cold Avenger:

My friends at Talus called and needed some photos of their products. In hindsight I should have bought this one for the blizzard that hit Missoula. For fun I combined work with pleasure as shown in the image below. That's my family braving the element and two of the products I photographed for the client.

Cold Avenger
When it gets really  cold
I was excited to get a call for a commissioned Retro Woman photo shoot.  
 I am scheduled next week to photograph " Liz".  She wants to surprise her fiancé with a classic pinup of herself.  Oh What fun....

Finally,  I am heading to Great Falls next week on assignment for Source Media, NYC,  to take some portraits for one of their magazines.  I am psyched, although not looking forward to the 3 hour drive, to do a magazine shoot. Shooting for magazines is how I started my career a million years ago and I have always enjoyed the experience.

 Dear Readers,

If you haven't noticed by now this is my 50th newsletter, truly golden. In real time that would mean I have been sending out this newsletter for 4 years. The one thing you can always count on is change.

The jury is out as to whether I will continue this newsletter. My last newsletter netted three jobs and some pretty nice sentiments from my loyal readers.  That all said maybe #51 will be the last one...we shall see.

Before...

The year started slow, business wise, but seems to have picked up, like a winter wind.  Since my last newsletter, I completed my 5th fashion catalog for Neesha, did some more product photography for my friends at Talus, photographing there Cold Avenger Fire Resistant face masks, got a call from a New York Art director who wants me to shoot some portraits for a national magazine and have a scheduled a vintage pinup shoot, next week.

and the winner is ....
The most likes on my Like us on Facebook page was an image I had taken on my iPhone  after the first snow storm in Pattee Canyon. I was excited to say I was the first on the trail with my skis and had a magical morning.
