New Video Offers Easy Explanation of AIM
Great resource for educators and families

A new video--featuring drawings--makes it quick and easy to learn more about AIM and how they can benefit children with disabilities.

The video, "AIM: Simply Said," was recently published on the AIM Center's web site. It's a collaborative project with the PACER Center, a national family advocacy organization.

The release of the video coincides with the AIM Center's launch of a newly designed set of web resources, "All About AIM," specifically created as a "place to start," helping educators and families who are new to AIM easily find answers to their most frequently asked questions.

Check out the new video and resources--and share them with your colleagues!

Of Special Interest to Those Involved in Online Learning and Students with Disabilities

The principal investigators (PIs) from the Center on Online Learning and Students with Disabilities have released an open letter to the field that we encourage you to share with your colleagues who share our common interest in improving learning results for students with disabilities.

It's an unusual step for a research center to take at this early stage in its work. As you will see, the PIs raise a number of significant concerns, stemming from their preliminary investigations regarding the participation of students with disabilities in online learning.

AIM TA Tips

Greetings All,
We are excited to share the great new "AIM Simply Said" video that was premiered at the Closing the Gap Conference. We have had excellent feedback from families and educators who have seen it! The video, along with the newly designed "All About AIM," section of the AIM Center web site are great resources for people just learning about AIM and also for those of us who support increased awareness of AIM.

We hope that you will find these resources useful and share the far and wide!
Let us know how these work for you and what else would be helpful.  As always, we are just a fingertip away by email (aim@cast.org).

Wishing you a joyful Thanksgiving,
- Joy
