Presentation Abstracts Due May 5
There are just 4 days left to submit presentation abstracts for the 9th annual CASQA Conference. This year's Conference is being held in Squaw Valley, Lake Tahoe from September 9-11, 2013. The theme of the Conference is "Taking Stormwater Quality Management to New Heights" and presentations are sought in the following major tracks for the September 10-11 technical program:
Behavior Change
Construction Permit
Effectiveness Assessment
GIS Applications, Monitoring, and Scientific Advances
Industrial Permit
Lake Tahoe
Regional / Integrated Approaches to Stormwater Compliance
Regulations, Permits, and Policies
Source Control
Stormwater Program Management
Stormwater Treatment
TMDLs and Pollutant Specific Compliance
Trash
The Conference attracts attendees from across the state and nation and is an exceptional opportunity to showcase your work in front of a wide spectrum of the stormwater profession. Both long and short presentations will be considered, either 25 or 50 minutes in length, the latter being ideal for an in-depth group or panel format.
Abstracts must be submitted through the CASQA web site by the midnight May 5, 2013 deadline. Click here to submit yours. We look forward to receiving your abstract submittal.

Award Nominations Due May 31
The CASQA Awards Program was established to identify and recognize exemplary leadership, outstanding projects, programs, activities, and contributions to the field of stormwater quality management. CASQA members are encouraged to submit their award nominations by 5:00 p.m. on May 31, 2013 in the following categories:
Leadership Award
Outstanding Stormwater BMP Implementation Project or Program Award
Outstanding Stormwater Research Project or Program Award
Outstanding Stormwater News, Information, Outreach, and Media Award
Outstanding Sustainable Stormwater Project or Program Award
With the exception of the Leadership Award, nominees need not be a member of CASQA or affiliated with a CASQA member. Awards will be presented at a special Awards Luncheon at the CASQA Conference on September 10. Nominations will only be accepted from current CASQA members.
