Targeted Outreach Plan
All Parent Centers are now required to develop and implement an Outreach Plan to inform parents of children with disabilities and youth with disabilities in their target area of how they can benefit from the Center's services. The strategies and template in this resource can be used to create or refine an Outreach Master Work Plan. Such a plan can help structure and evaluate all of a Center's outreach efforts to ensure they are focused and effective in reaching their target audience/s. In addition to the template and examples, also included are 8 questions to ask before starting the Plan and 10 items to check to ensure your Plan is practical and successful.

Outcome: Parent Centers are aware of the importance of an effective targeted Outreach Plan and also better able to develop and implement a Plan. .
