CITY OF MIAMI POLICE SECURITY UPDATE

The Miami Police Department has requested that participants do not bring backpacks, gym bags or large bags to the event. 

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS FROM RACE OFFICIALS

It is imperative that you follow the instructions given to you by the Race Officials. Failure to do so can disqualify you and your entire team.

EZ PASSES are required to ride the Metrorail. A limited number are available at FootWorks in South Miami for $4.50 cash. We also have limited number of parking passes available also for $4.50 cash. FootWorks is located at 5724 Sunset Drive across from the Barnes & Noble.

The First Street and College Bayside Metromover Stations are closer to the tent areas north of Flagler. Anyone in Areas A, B, C, D, E, F, H, and Q should use the First Street station and walk 2 blocks east on NE 1st St. Everyone in R should exit at College Bayside and walk 2 blocks east on NE 3rd St to the Park.

Bayside Marketplace is offering all race participants discounted parking. Show them your race number and pay just $5. The Bayside Marketplace parking garage is located just north of Bayfront Park on Biscayne Blvd. For easiest access, take 395 to the soutbound Biscayne exit. Then make a left on NE 5th Street onto Miamarina Parkway. The parking garage entrance will be on your right.

Your team captain will distribute your race numbers and shirts. Please pin your number to the FRONT of your shirt. Make sure you're wearing the number that is assigned to you. Do not remove, tamper with, or fold the timing chip located on the back of your race number.

Please complete the emergency contact information form on the back of your bib. It would facilitate getting you the help you need in case of an emergency.

The M-Cycle Team will get the heart pumping and blood flowing with a quick warm-up routine starting at 5:45pm. 

GETTING TO THE STARTING CORRALS

With the expected crowd of over 25,600 participants, it is crucial that you follow all announcements, instructions, and signage to get into the proper starting corrals. The corrals are divided by division. CEOs (grey numbers) and all seeded runners (red numbers with yellow wristbands) line up first, runners line up behind them, and finally the walkers (blue numbers) are in the last corral. Walkers and Runners will take a different path to get to the start. 

WALKERS - Use the Secret Access Route  

After the warmup, WALKERS WALK TOWARDS THE STAGE and follow the wide sidewalk along the water north towards Bayside Marketplace. Continue along the water until you reach the service road that will take you to the start. Volunteers and Stiltwalkers will lead the way. Follow the arrows. It may seem like a longer distance, but this service road is the best and fastest way to get to the WALKER corrals. 

  

WALKERS SHOULD USE THE SECRET ACCESS ROUTE TO GET TO THE STARTING LINE

 

RUNNERS & CEOs:  Runners & CEOs will use the Promenade and the sidewalk along Chopin Plaza at the South end of the park to access the front corrals. Runners who care about their starting position should skip the M-Cycle Gym Warmup and head to the starting corrals as soon as possible. The corrals open at 5:30pm.

Results will be posted live to the site as participants cross the finish line. You can view your results by scanning the QR Code on your bib using a barcode app on your smartphone or by visiting here.
