Subject: Personnel Changes
Dear GNBA Neighbors,
I am writing to inform you of the following recent personnel changes:
Secretary: Karen Galbo, who for the past year has served as Recording Secretary for meetings of the Board of Governors, Membership, and Zoning Commission, has accepted the position of Association Secretary. Happily, Kathy Cole will continue as the Internet Administrator, so we will continue to enjoy her informational updates and the website that she has built into such a wonderful community resource.
Harbor Management: Mark Vaughn resigned as Harbor Management Chair, and Tim Mahoney has agreed to take over the position. Thank you, Tim, for your willingness to step into this role.
Clubhouse: Laurie Corona has resigned as Clubhouse Chair effective December 1, 2012. We do not yet have a replacement for this vital position.
In addition to the impending Club House Chair vacancy noted above, we continue to have vacancies at the helm of the Asset Management, Beach, and Recreation committees. I am therefore also writing to renew what feels like a permanent plea for volunteers. Please contact me at president@gnba1941.com if you are willing to serve in any of these roles, or are interested in volunteering in any other capacity.
