The power outage planned for Tuesday, October 16th did not occur.  According to Mr. Burhans of CL&P, the work was more time consuming than initially thought. 

 

This project is intended to double the power capacity to our area since usage is approaching its maximum at peak season.  Currents plans are to place new poles & transformers and then cut-over in the Spring, sometime prior to June 1, 2013.   Every attempt will be made to minimize down time.

Mr. Burhans extends his apologies for any inconvenience and will inform us of the planned cut-over when it is scheduled.
