Greetings from Diane ~

I would like to wish you all a great Thanksgiving!!!

The tradition of Thanksgiving has become a day of being thankful for good health, good friends & family, good times.  Sharing memories, making new ones.  Sharing good food, hopefully good coffee!!! Simple quiet moments.  I wish the day lasted all year...  Sometimes, I admit it, I forget how much I have to be thankful for!

I continue to be blessed with the opportunity to help moms & dads learn about childbirth (One-Day Childbirth Class), to photograph some of their births (Birth Photography), and to help guide some of them through the birthing experience (Labor Support).  I am thankful that I have been or can be of service to you!  

For the last three years, I have also been working in a college helping other men and women become nurses.  I am thankful for

the opportunity to be a apart of their journey as they become our future nurses! 

So I wish you the best Thanksgiving, 

and much to be thankful for today and every day.

2012 Updates ~

• ***UPDATE:  I have 3 WEEKS OFF DURING December 15 - January 6th!  If anyone wants help in labor (labor support), c-section photos (at BRRH only), or private childbirth class or private infant CPR class in your home CONTACT ME!!! 

• ***NEW!!! ADDITIONAL CBC LOCATION!  I am ALSO teaching my PCT One-Day Childbirth Class at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.  Tell your friends, family, and co-workers who live in north Palm Beach County!

• On October 1st, I became engaged!!!  My boyfriend, Walter, of 3+ years, asked...and I said "YES"!!!!  Now that's a cup of coffee!!!

Holiday Recipe:  What's in the oven????~

TEA TIMERS

• Ingredients:
• 3 oz pkg. Original Philadelphia Cream Cheese
• 1/2 cup butter (1/4lb.)
• 1 cup flour
• 1 egg
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 Tbs butter
• 1 tsp vanilla
• dash salt
• 2/3 cup chopped walnuts
• powdered sugar
• Directions:

1. Cheese Pastry: 
   • Soften cheese and butter and blend.  Stir in flour, chill slightly for 1 hour.  Shape in 2 dozen 1-inch balls.  Use miniature cupcake pans.
2. Nut Filling:
• Beat egg, sugar, 1 tablespoon melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.  Fill pastry half way with filling.
3. Place nuts on top then cook for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool for 10 minutes in pan then remove from pan with assistance of tip of knife.  Cool on wire rack.  When ready to serve, sprinkle with powdered sugar.  Serve in miniature cupcake papers.
4. Enjoy!!!!
