Message from the CEO
Gratitude - it improves your mental health!
|
| Sharon Vosmek CEO |
"Cultivating an attitude of gratitude has been linked to better health, sounder sleep, less anxiety and depression, higher long-term satisfaction with life and kinder behavior toward others, including romantic partners."
As many of you have heard me say, I am one that likes to act on research. And this sounds like research I dare not ignore!
As we approach year-end, we have so very many of you in the Astia Community to thank. All year long your support has helped Astia to:
- Serve over 1000 companies through sourcing, screening, and advising;
- Showcase 75+ exceptional woman-led deals to the investment community; and
- Move forward the conversation of building an inclusive innovation ecosystem through the We Own It Collaboration, media coverage, blog posts, speeches, and tweets!
We do hope you will join us for one (or all) of our Community Appreciation evenings in London, New York & Silicon Valley so that we can thank you in person. The entire team is at the ready to celebrate the holidays and extend warm appreciation for the commitment we share to the mission.
And as you end your year and seek to identify the causes that you are grateful for, think about adding Astia to your season of giving. We could not do this without you and every bit of support means so very much.
On behalf of the entire Astia team, thank you and warmest holiday wishes to you all!
Cheers,
Sharon
