Did you join us at the
Halloween Run for Fun 5K?
| |
Not even developing hurricane force winds could stop our ambassadors for play! On October 28th, volunteers, staff, and supporters alike joined us to celebrate Halloween and our efforts to bring play to children experiencing homelessness at our First Annual Run for Fun 5K!

Together we raised $14,387 for the children we serve!
We registered a record 280 walkers and runners this year! It was a lot of fun with costumes and early morning exercise together. Thank you to everyone who registered and convinced your family, friends and fellow volunteers to join you!

Teen Field Trip
| |
There was no shortage of frights and sights for our teens on Halloween night!
Our October field trip brought our teens to the Hallow Inc Haunted House in Rockville!
Thanks to Joyce Roldan and the staff from Hallow, Inc., our teens went for for free!
While the kids were scared from the minute they arrived, about an hour after leaving, they were ready to do it again! Luckily, our friends at Hallow, Inc. were so pleased to have us, we've been invited to come back year after year.
