I would also like to announce that we had to say good-bye to two our directors, one due to a job transfer and another due to a new job. I hope you can all join in me extending a thank you to Clayton Smith and Kim Jones. Clayton has been a great resource and helped with web site over the years. Kim has been an excellent resource for our CISM exam preparation courses and has contributed so much to not only ISACA, but the ISSA and other organizations in the Valley. We wish both of them the best in their endeavors, and Kim promised to still help with the November 2012 exam preparation courses.
With their departure, I would also like to announce that the Board has appointed two new directors to fill their terms until our elections next year. We would like to welcome Andy Deas, Sr. Manager at Deloitte and Aaron Carpenter, IT Audit Manager at American Express. Both bring years of information security and audit experience as well as many resources throughout the area.

Our September chapter meeting will be the evening of Thursday, the 27th. Details will come out in a separate email shortly. During the coming year we plan on having chapter meetings monthly, instead of bi-monthly as we have the past two years. We also anticipate alternating between evening and afternoon events. |
