President, iaedp Board of Directors 2013-2014

Buck Runyan, MS, MFT, LPC, CEDS, F.iaedp, assumed the position of President of the iaedp Board of Directors in January 2013 for a two year term. He brought considerable leadership strengths to the governing board. Buck has been a key player in the development of iaedp chapters over the past seven years. He has also been a member of the certification committee and has worked tirelessly with that team to further refine and build iaedp Certification. The iaedp Board thanks him for his dedication to excellence and his commitment to iaedp and its mission. He remains on the Board of Directors and will assume the role of Immediate Past President and serving on the Board's Executive Committee for the next two years.

As of January 1, Kevin Wandler, MD, CEDS, F.iaedp, assumes leadership as President of the iaedp Board of Directors. Kevin has served as President Elect for the past 12 months.
Kevin has been a member of the iaedp Board of Directors and the Certification Committee and is currently the Board Liaison in developing a new certification for physicians. We look forward to the excitement and many leadership qualities that Kevin will bring to his new position. Thank you Kevin for your willingness to serve and your dedication to iaedp and its mission!

Rick Bishop, Roy Erlichman, and Adrienne Ressler have made invaluable contributions to iaedp and its mission in the many years they served on the iaedp Board of Directors. They served tirelessly and with great dedication, commitment, professionalism, and selflessness. They leave an indelible leadership influence on iaedp and its mission because of their expertise in the field, personal integrity and gracious spirits. They now join the iaedp Advisory Board to work on the Educational Committee and Ethics Committee functions of that board. We look forward to their continuing leadership. Become a Fellow of iaedp (F.iaedp)
You deserve to be recognized and validated as an experienced clinician and iaedp is committed to helping our members! The Board of Directors and Awards Committee created the Fellow of iaedp (F.iaedp), a new category of elevated membership status available to highly committed and accomplished professionals.
For consideration for elevated membership status as a Fellow of iaedp, candidates' collective contributions over time will be evaluated. Guidelines identify but are not exclusive to iaedp members of five continuous years or more who have been in practice for a minimum of 5 years, are preferably Certified Eating Disorder Specialists and have demonstrated accomplishment and participation in the field through activities such as teaching, presentations, training, research, writing and innovative community projects. Each honoree will receive a special certificate of recognition and Fellow Members may include "F. iaedp" with his or her credentials. Award nominations and Fellow of iaedp applications are encouraged from members through forms provided online. More information here
