Exercise Addiction or Healthy Lifestyle Choice

This presentation will focus on the difference between excessive exercise and healthy lifestyle incorporating exercise. Attendees will learn the correlation between eating disorders, exercise addiction and participation in sports. Appropriate for adolescent and adult populations. Treatment strategies will be presented as well as case studies.
Kimberly Dennis 


Dr. Kim Dennis is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in eating disorder treatment, addictions recovery, trauma/PTSD and co-occurring disorders. As Medical Director at Timberline Knolls, she supervises the medical staff and sets the overall vision and direction for the treatment program. Dr. Dennis received her undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago. She obtained her medical degree from the University Of Chicago Pritzker School Of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency training at the University of Chicago Hospitals, where she served as chief resident. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.

Sus premisas son dejar la mentalidad de dieta, hacer las paces con la comida, y volver hacia una regulación intuitiva de la alimentación, la cuál es innata.

Este webinar tiene el objetivo de ayudarle a aplicar los principios de Alimentación Intuitiva, con el que puede ayudar a sus pacientes a crear una relación saludable con la comida, y favorecer su conexión mente, cuerpo, espíritu.

Nutricionista, Máster en Trastornos del Comportamiento Alimentario y Obesidad

Rebeca es Nutricionista Clínica, con una especialidad en Trastornos de la Conducta Alimentaria y Obesidad, de la Universidad Europea de Madrid.

Durante el curso del Máster realizó practicas en la Unidad de Trastornos de la Conducta Alimentaria del Hospital Santa Cristina, y en el Hospital Niño de Jesús en Madrid. También estuvo en una pasantía en el Institut de Trastorns Alimentaris (ITA) de Barcelona.

Tiene 8 años de experiencia en consulta personalizada, y ha dirigido su practica a ayudar a sus pacientes a lograr una relación positiva con la comida y con su cuerpo.

Su trabajo se basa en modelo de Alimentación Intuitiva de Resch y Tribole, enfocado en lograr el bienestar sin dietas o restricciones,; y en el Coaching para el bienestar.

Con niños y familias se basa en Satter Feeding Dynamics Model (fdSatter) y Satter Eating Compentence Model (ecSatter), modelos probados clínicamente en ser los más positivos y efectivos en favorecer una relación saludable con la comida y mejorar la nutrición,de familias y niños. You deserve to be recognized and validated as an experienced clinician and iaedp is committed to helping our members! The Board of Directors and Awards Committee created the Fellow of iaedp (F.iaedp), a new category of elevated membership status available to highly committed and accomplished professionals.

 

For consideration for elevated membership status as a Fellow of iaedp, candidates' collective contributions over time will be evaluated. Guidelines identify but are not exclusive to iaedp members of seven continuous years or more who have been in practice for a minimum of 15 years, are preferably Certified Eating Disorder Specialists and have demonstrated accomplishment and participation in the field through activities such as teaching, presentations, training, research, writing and innovative community projects. Each honoree will receive a special certificate of recognition and Fellow Members may include "F. iaedp" with his or her credentials. Award nominations and Fellow of iaedp applications are encouraged from members through forms provided online.  More information here
