Register for 2016 Citizens Civic Academy
Want to learn more about city services and operations? Sign up for the 2016 Citizens Civic Academy. The academy familiarizes residents with the structure, functions and activities of North Richland Hills local government, encourages citizens to become involved in their community, and enhances their ability to communicate effectively with city officials. Sessions cover a broad range of city departments and operations from Animal Services to Zoning and everything in between. Participants also learn about volunteer opportunities with the city.

Neighborhood Initiative Program Receives $10,000 Donation from Life Church
On Monday, the North Richland Hills City Council thanked Life Church for a $10,000 donation to the Neighborhood Initiative Program. The donation will go a long way in helping residents continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes. The Neighborhood Initiative Program assists the elderly, persons with disabilities, single parents and military veterans who are physically unable to maintain their properties and cannot afford to hire help. Volunteer for Trash Bash Litter Cleanup
Join hundreds of volunteers to beautify North Richland Hills on Saturday, September 24 at the annual Trash Bash Litter Cleanup event. The cleanup will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a volunteer party at the NRH2O pavillon with music, free lunch, kid's environmental activities and exhibits.
Trash Bash is a community service opportunity for residents of all ages. Scout troops, school groups, churches, businesses, individuals and families are all invited to participate.
