New North Richland Hills City Hall Now Open
 We've moved! City Hall, Municipal Court and Public Safety services are now together in one convenient location at 4301 City Point Dr.
Join us for a grand opening celebration at the new facility on May 13, 2016. The event will include an open house from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony starting at 6:00 p.m. and a concert starting at 7:00 p.m. Please note that City Council Meetings, Planning & Zoning Commission Meetings and other public meetings will continue to take place at the old City Hall, 7301 NE Loop 820, until after the grand opening. Sounds of Spring Concert Series Begins Friday
North Richland Hills' 2016 Sound of Spring concert season opens this Friday, April 15, with the very popular Tejas Brothers. Specializing in "music that makes people happy," this lively quartet will get toes tapping and hands clapping in their Sounds of Spring debut. Bring your friends and family for a great night of music and fun.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. at the NRH Centre plaza, 6000 Hawk Ave. Admission and parking are free. Seating is on the lawn, so don't forget your blankets or lawn chairs. There will be a variety of gourmet food trucks or you are welcome to bring your own picnic, but please no glass containers. Sounds of Spring will continue every Friday night through May 20. Get Rid of Bulky Items this Saturday
This Saturday, April 16, 2016 North Richland Hills residents can get rid of unwanted bulky items during the annual Spring Community Cleanup. Items can be dropped off from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Tarrant County College Northeast Campus, 828 Harwood Road (Parking lot E.1 by tennis courts). Proof of residency (driver's license or water bill) must be presented.
Residents may get rid of brush, old furniture and other bulky items. Tires and fire extinguishers will also be accepted for proper disposal. Hazardous waste will not be accepted.
Paper shredding will also be provided at this event. Residents can bring up to five average-size file boxes of paper to be securely shredded on-site and then recycled. Goodwill Industries will also be on site to collect donations. Questions may be directed to the Code Compliance Office at 817-427-6663.

Author Lisa Lillien to Speak at NRH Library
Join us on Monday, April 25, 2016 as we welcome New York Times bestselling author Lisa Lillien to the North Richland Hills Library. Ms. Lillien, more commonly known as Food Network star "Hungry Girl," will visit to release her newest book Clean and Hungry.
