'Round the Town with Oscar Monthly Bike Rides Return April 5
Grab your bike and join Mayor Trevino for the return of the monthly bike rides on Tuesday, April 5. The casual and easy bike rides begin and end at Cross Timbers Park, 7680 Douglas Lane at 5:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome, whether you are an avid cyclist or the casual weekend rider.

The City of NRH encourages you to please Bike, Walk and Drive Safely! Did you know that a driver needs to provide a minimum number of 3 feet when passing a person
bicycling.Visit

NRH has over 30 miles of trails!
Spring is a perfect time to take a walk, jog or bike ride in North Richland Hills! Did you know that there are over 30 miles of trails that connect to parks, neighborhoods, local businesses and city facilities! Check out this video and then check out the NRH Trail System!

NRH Upcoming Special Events 
Easter in the Park

Easter in the Park will take place on Saturday, March 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Green Valley Park, 7701 Smithfield Road. Over 20,000 treat-filled eggs will cover the playing fields and there will be a petting zoo, mini-train, activities and bounce houses for lots of after-the-hunt fun. Thank you to our 2016 sponsors: the City of NRH, Life Church and ISG/Insurance Solutions Group. The hunt will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m., so bring your basket and hop on over!
Youth Summer Activities Fair

The NRH Centre and Walker Creek Elementary PTA will host a Summer Youth Activities Fair on Saturday, April 2 from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. at the NRH Centre, 6000 Hawk Avenue. This free event provides families an opportunity to visit with numerous summer vendors throughout the metroplex.

Mayor's 5K Walk 
Join Mayor Oscar Trevino on a path to better health! All fitness levels are encouraged to participate in the 2016 Mayors 5k Walk on Saturday, April 2 at 9:00 a.m. at the NRH Centre, 6000 Hawk Ave. Participation is free for the family-friendly walk.  Mayor's 5K Walk Registration
Family Movie Night
Come on out to the NRH Centre Family Movie Night on Friday, April 8 from 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at the NRH Centre Plaza. The Disney Pixar movie Inside Out will be shown!  This family event is free  and for all ages. Bring your chairs, blankets and snacks. If inclement weather is present, the movie will be shown inside in the gym!
 
Richland Tennis Center Hosts Camp
The Richland Tennis Center, 7111 NE Loop 820, will host the John Newcombe Traveling Tennis Camp Tuesday-Thursday, April 12-14. They will be conducting tennis clinics for adults in the morning and evening as well as juniors in the evening. For more information, or to register call 817-427-6680.
Sounds of Spring Concert Series
Everyone can enjoy 6 Friday nights of live music by the areas best musicians for FREE! Plan to join us April 15 through May 20, and bring your friends and family, along with your lawn chairs and blankets - out for fun, great music and relaxation under the stars at the NRH Centre Plaza, 6000 Hawk Avenue!
