Citizens Police Academy Begins in February
 The NRH Police Department is holding a Citizens Police Academy (CPA) February 4 - April 28. Classes will be held on Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Participants will learn about patrol procedures, dispatch operations, SWAT operations and crime scene search, as well as many other law enforcement subjects.
CPA is open to NRH residents and those who work in North Richland Hills. There is no cost to participate, but space is limited and advanced registration is required. An online application is available on the CPA web page at www.nrhtx.com/CPA.

The Maker Spot Hours Expanded
 The Maker Spot at the NRH Library has expanded its hours to include Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The new hours are:

10:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. - Wednesday:
3:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. - Thursday:

Daddy Daughter Dance Tickets on Sale Now
 Dads, grandpas and uncles are invited to bring their daughters, granddaughters and nieces to the 2016 NRH Daddy Daughter Valentines Dance on Saturday, February 6. This special evening will include dancing, refreshments, photographs, limo rides and more. Ages 3 to 8 are invited from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Ages 9 to 16 are invited from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
